Don was very conversant about the repairs and is obviously very capable. I appreciated his approach and the work was done very well. We are pleased that you offered service for our Sub-Zero refrigerator. It is 24 yrs. old and now is "still" going strong. Don is the type of technician we want in our home. I thank my lucky stars that I called Northgate and talked to Chuck. It saved me money; I didn't have to buy a new or some of the used washers and I was able to keep a washer that was not ready to be recycled by any stretch of the imagination. I owe Chuck a big thanks for being a very knowledgeable and professional when I called, Saturday, June 15, to check on used washers. I was told by another company's repair servicemen, out to my house on Friday, that the transfer case and board were gone on my 4 yr old Cabrio. The parts were so expensive that I was facing buying another washer. Chuck dealt with my frustration with my Cabrio washer and listened to the problem I was having with it. After listening to me, Chuck said that based on what he heard your repairman talking "shop" that it sounded like the bearing, which was not as expensive repair as to replace the washer. Chuck set up a service call and Doug confirmed it was the bearing, which Doug replaced.  What a difference it is so quiet through the whole wash cycle, not just the spin cycle. All I can say is Chuck is the ultimate salesman. He not only know his product, but he takes the time to learn about the service of the product he sells. Big box sales people can't even describe features of their products. Believe me, based on Chuck and Doug, not only will Northgate be my fist choice, I am also recommending Northgate and Chuck to my friends and neighbors.

Doug came totally prepared to work on our Sub Zero ice maker.  Doug explained everything thoroughly. He installed a shut off valve in the event the ice maker malfunctions in the future.  To us this was an emergency and Doug was at our house minutes after our call for help.  Doug is a true professional. He gets an A+ in every category.  I see that Northgate Appliance is rated the number one appliance store in Michigan. After seeing Doug in action, I can understand how you achieved the rating. Congratulations!

Randy was very helpful to me over the phone. He could answer my questions quickly and easily. I had a issue with getting the frig to fit with my existing cabinets and he even referred to me a gentleman that cut my cabinet.  Two very nice guys delivered my frig, they were prompt and very courteous. My frig had a horrible stink because it stopped working while we were on vacation but they took it all in stride. I really appreciated Randy's knowledge walking me thru purchasing a frig I had no plans of getting. We even had a sense of humor a few times. Again, our only choice for buying appliances is Northgate. The washer had a hose which had become disconnected somehow. We discovered this late on Monday afternoon and called the store. Within a couple of hours, someone contacted us and set up a repair time for the next morning. Your service department can't be beat. I would never consider buying from a chain store simply for your service department. I totally recommend you to our family and friends. We went to one of your competitors to compare prices per recommendation of family, but their salesperson was not anywhere nearly as professional as your service personal. They did not have the amount of products you carry either. Hands down, Northgate is the best. Thanks again. We will be back.

We have been very happy with our purchase and especially the service from Northgate. We've had Ken help us with repairs in the past and now Doug with repairs. Both have done a great job. I'm quite happy with the price we paid for the extended warranty plan and the service we've received. It seems the newer refrigerators have more problems. We've been happy with the Frigidaire French Door, lower ice maker, even with the few problems we've had it's been a better refrigerator. Thank you for your help.
