Dave has done a number of repairs for us over the years, both at our old house as well as at our new home. We have always been happy with his work, his time explaining things, and his willingness to answer the questions of curious toddlers! I appreciated his time and ideas for what could be the problem, and what we could do to fix it. I also appreciated the fact that he took the time to do a minor repair first, rather than immediately suggest we needed the expensive part.

Kevin Rademacher was outstanding from start to finish. We first called the store with some general questions about wall ovens. He took the time to patiently answer them all. That initial contact is what prompted us to head over to Northgate instead of elsewhere in town. We were not disappointed. Kevin was able to explain the ins and outs of ovens, including our specific concerns about the cooling fans, the noise they make, and why some brands are quieter than others (but more prone to have the digital board fail). Because noise is an issue in our small kitchen, we wanted to hear the exact oven we were considering, before buying. Because that oven did not happen to be on the showroom floor, Kevin located it in the shipping area and had it brought into the building so that we could see and hear it in action. That allowed us to make a knowledgeable decision. We then purchased our new oven at a very competitive price. In fact, the sale price was less than what we could have gotten at Lowe's. Kevin also put us in touch with someone who could remove the old oven and enlarge our built-in space, prior to delivery, so that the new oven would fit. Ken was likewise great to work with and very accommodating. Finally, delivery day arrived but heavy snow and near-zero visibility made it impossible for the truck to get up the hill to our condo. The next business day did not look much better but the delivery crew made the effort to get to us anyway, and got the oven installed, which was much appreciated since we had by that point been without an oven for 10 days. Thanks very much, Kevin and crew, for a job well done!!

Dave has always done a great job for us, your whole service staff is the best. The guys that delivered our 2 new refrigerators and a range last year did a great job. It was a very hard job to get them in place and to remove the old ones. Northgate is the "only" place we would recommend to our friends and family.

Dave is fabulous. We can't fathom switching from Northgate BECAUSE of the service department. Dave is and has always been a consummate professional, and is so knowledgeable and helpful. On top of that he's so friendly. He seems to truly want the best for the client and explains options and costs of various options. He explained the repair carefully to me and then when my husband came, he explained it again so we could make an informed choice. Please give Dave highest kudos. He even came out cheerfully on Monday during the blizzard!

I know we pay a little more than the big box store but the overall value is well worth it. From having top rated products, excellent installation, a knowledgeable salesperson, a great extended warranty which was hassle free to use, a strong service department with knowledgeable tenured employees, parts on hand, and professional service delivery. Doug arrived early, was very polite, seems to really know his product, performed the repair, and reinstalled the unit while taking care of our house. I was very impressed that he took the time to run all the burners, oven, convection oven, and warmer drawer. He even gave me some tips on how to use the warmer drawer to warm plates. (We have never used it). Service like Doug delivers is the reason Northgate is a treasure. He also paid the owner of Northgate a compliment, which is very classy. Take good care of Doug!
