Northgate always takes time to answer questions & explain everything. We trust them completely. Our service tech came even after regular hours. We knew what the cost should be and were charged exactly that. We got our money's worth and then some. Your company is the best--prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, It's always a pleasure when Dave comes to repair any of our appliances. He's a fun guy & we appreciate him. I remember long ago, he even came on a Sunday with his youngest daughter to fix something!!! I would certainly recommend you to everyone.

Dave has serviced things for me in the past and is ALWAYS knowledgeable and efficient. He always knows what's wrong and how to fix it! Dave was able to fit me in on the day I called for service - well in advance of the original time slot a couple days later! I wouldn't buy an appliance anywhere but Northgate, not just for the products, but for the SERVICE. Every time I make a call for service, whoever answers the phone is usually able to pinpoint the problem which I'm sure gives Dave a heads-up on what he might expect when he gets here. Northgate has a great team approach to service!

I've had 5 guys here from Northgate in the past month. Delivery for fridge, replace door on fridge, and today the new washers. I'm so impressed with the friendiness of your delivery guys.
Northgate's showroom is well set up, quiet, pleasant, and well-lighted. Location of the staff work center is in the middle of the showroom and is easily accessed by the customer. This is very efficient. The two representatives that served us, Mark and Randy, were extremely well qualified: they know the products well, answer questions directly and thoroughly, and are polite and respectful. Mark did a lot of work with us the first time we were there. In Mark's absence on the day we returned to buy, Randy was equally as helpful and patient with the many questions we had.

I am ashamed that I did not remember the names of the deliverymen, but both men were able and experienced. They were both efficient, worked well as a team, and handled the removal and installation professionally. The orientation and instruction process was unhurried, clear, and patiently carried out.....Both men have friendly and outgoing personalities, are respectful, and conducted themselves professionally. They did credit to Northgate Appliance Co.

You did well in all phases: Preliminary contact, sale, and delivery. All four people directly associated with the product and the service you provided to us deserve to be recognized as providing EXCELLENT customer service to us. I (we) would heartily recommend you to friends and family...and we will. Our first shopping location was Northgate. We then visited other dealers in the area. We seriously entertained the idea of buying from a "Big Box" store (Lowe's, Best Buy, Sam's, Costco) to obtain the best price. We even visited the local Sears store, and the Sears in the Rivertown Mall. Our research in an old Consumer Reports monthly publication convinced us that their recommendation to purchase from "Independents" was a sound one, and we decided to return to Northgate. We are glad we did.

He was knowledgeable and very helpful and got me a fair price on a floor model which was more range than I intnded to buy, but within my price point. The delivery crew was very professional and respectful of my home. I will certainly come back for my next purchase.

We have had our washer and dryer for about 20 years. Anytime we have needed a repair (which has not been often) Dave has fixed it as soon as possible and does it with excellence. Both my husband and I feel that he is fair and that we can trust him.
The person that answered my call deserves positive recognition as he was courteous and knew just what questions to ask. Dave deserves positive recognition as he was friendly and informative. He seemed to know what had to be done and did it in a timely fashion. One of the reasons I bought appliances at Northgate was for the service or repair in case I would ever need it. I would recommend Northgate for those reasons.

I stopped in last month to look at new dishwashers. Ours was producing cloudy glasses and dirty dishes. Other stores had been happy to show me different models and sway me toward one or the other for purchase. I was ready to buy something that week. Your salesman (Mark, I believe), wouldn't even show me a new dishwasher. Instead, he took time to educate me about the change in detergents (now without phosphate), sold me some tablets to give me to give mine a thorough cleaning, and steered me toward Cascade Complete. After also talking about the possibility of hard water, I headed to the store and bought Cascade and Lemishine. I used the quantity that he had recommended, and now we have BEAUTIFUL dishes, and are so thankful that we didn't invest in a new dishwasher (which would have likely produced the same results as our current one). We've already recommended Northgate to friends and family, and will continue to do so! Thanks for saving us money, providing a great education, and helping us save our dishes!

I appreciated the fact that you were able to repair my refrigerator the day I called because the weather was hot and I needed quick service. I am very happy with your service department. I know this is supposed to be about service, but I also like your store. You allow customers to look around without following them through the store. The first time I was in your store, I was sort of doing a survey of what refrigerators cost and what features were available and I wasn't intending to buy that day. Many things impressed me about this service call, one of them being that he called from the site of his previous service call to let us know that we'd be next (if we were ready for him -- which we were) and to let us know how long it would be till he reached our house. He was friendly, clearly knew what he was doing, explained clearly what the options were and why he was recommending one over the other, and carried out his work expeditiously. He even left the $0.26 which had gone through the drying process and fallen into an other inaccessible part of the dryer!

I was very impressed by the service. He was very nice to talk and explained everything. It was an emergency call and he was there the same day and saved us from throwing away a lot of food. Because it was a fridge and freezer it was very important that it got done fast. Northgate would have brought in a borrowed freezer in to save our food, if the repair man could not make it that day, which was very nice. Northgate also called the repair man while he was at another house to see if he could make it here, which was a nice follow up. Northgate worried about our problem, and that is a nice feeling. Loved the fact that the salesman wasn't pushy, but very honest about the brands, features etc. No high pressure sales pitch was great! I wish the word was out more about your service and expertise- instead of people immediately going to the "big box" stores, who specialize in crappy customer service and lack of knowledge. I appreciate that the salesman we had pointed us to "scratch and dent" so that we could save a little money on something that was an unexpected expense!

The service was exceptional! The technician was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. He went out of his way to make sure we understood what he was doing and why. Our home was being remodeled and Northgate and their service department accommodated the special needs of the construction process. I am extremely pleased with the service we received from Northgate. Our service representative was extremely efficient with both the diagnosis and resolution of the various issues that confronted him. We are very pleased with both the service and the lower than expected service charges.

The delivery guys were awesome! They went the extra mile to help us out, when a small problem arose. They also took the time to explain the oven to us and to ask if we had any questions. They did not seem rushed, or in a hurry to get out like most other delivery people. They spent time to make sure we felt comfortable with the new equipment...that means a lot to us. The serviceman was very helpful and demonstrated the use of both appliances. The last salesperson who took my payment was helpful with the appliance rebate application. I would definitely recommend Northgate to my friends, in fact I have done so.
I spoke with Ken. He was wonderful and helpful. I've been to your shop on multiple occasions looking for parts for my old washer. Your staff has always been very helpful. I'm a girl in my 20s and every time I've visited your staff has treated me like a competent individual. I really appreciated all the help and parts that I gotten there over the past years. Our washer finally died at 6:30 on a Friday. I drove straight to Northgate. Ken helped me narrow down the washer options. It was installed the next day before noon! I didn't even miss a load of laundry. My kids were sick to their stomachs. It was really really nice to have a working washer so quickly! I will always come to Northgate for all appliance purchases. My husband & I were had scheduled a service man to come to our home and repair our 12 yr. old Maytag washer. Tuesday morning, Dave called me to verify some info about what type of service we were needing. In the course of conversation, he gave me some things to think about, what we may be looking at, the cost it would be to repair it, the options I might want to consider, I told him I'd call him back. Before I could do that, he called me to tell about a used model on your showroom floor that matched my dryer exactly. The price on it was less than repairs to my washer would be. With the cost of delivery it could end up being about the same or less than the 2 hour repair job we were looking at. I asked if we did it, when could it be delivered, he said that very day! My husband & I made the trip to your showroom and sure enough, a washer identical to mine was there, same color, same make, same model! We purchased it, the delivery was made later that day, I washed 4 loads of clothes in it that evening and it even runs quieter than the one we had previously! It's amazing! And we are so pleased! Thank you to Dave for going the extra mile to make a satisfied customer! I am impressed and I will be sure to tell everyone we know!!!

Randy did an excellent job. I was most impressed by the one price, no gimmic approach. We went to other stores and shopped only to have to use a calculator to figure out the bottom line. I do not do rebates and nothing turns me off more that someone telling me that delivery is 65 bucks, but you can send in the rebate and get credit... blah blah blah... Your free delivery and pickup was worry free for me. You guys did an awsome job and I look forward to getting my Holland Grill in the spring. Keep up the good work. Thanks!
